The Owls are pretty keen in resurecting the neighbourhood tree house in the bike park. They are working on bringing in found wood from pallets to make new levels and to make it 'safer'. So far their work has made improvements on the tree house as they work out team dynamics as well as problem solve how not to overuse nails.

The Owls also made individual mini fires to melt wax for their mini lanterns. It was harder for them to make and sustain their mini fires by themselves, but they did it!

In the afternoon the Owls were inspired to make forts all over the bluff. They were a little discouraged when told we can't leave anything permanent on the bluff. We will see if they go back to work on their look out post. We also had our hand at watercolour painting. The change of pace was enjoyed as we soaked in the sunshine. We ended the day with an egg and fire experiment. Ask your Owl about it!
