Tuesday 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Using the core routines as a guide, the Squirrels class use their growing bodies to discover new uses for tools, become more comfortable in the outdoor space, and grow in their own confidence of their abilities.
Wednesdays 9 am - 3 pm
We will explore bush craft together, participating in activities that encourage personal growth and an awareness of the needs of others. Connecting with the natural world in these years is more important than ever, as the more these tweens and teens know themselves, the more confident they will become.
Tuesdays 8:45 - 11:45 am
The Rabbits experience their space through adventurous movement. They become independent in their fire skills and delve into carving and creating with tools. Leading with their questions, the teachers help the children explore their interests by saying yes as often as possible!
Thursdays 9 am - 3 pm
The Owls take their skills to a whole new level through experiential learning and community building. Carving and wood working, cooking with fire, problem solving through projects, hikes and snowshoeing - these activities foster both independence and reliance on each other.
Tuesdays 9 am - 3 pm
This full day class combines the learning, play and social development found in both a Rabbits and Owls class. Due to the free age mixing, opportunities for peer teaching are increased.
Each class has two qualified teachers and 10 children/youth. Check out the About Us page for their profiles!
