The Fish Creek ice falls never fail to impress and capture the interest of forest school kids. It was an icy morning, but before getting to the falls the Foxes investigated a few caves. Ask your Fox what was found in the depths!

At the ice falls the Foxes had a try at using Mrs. Lea's ice pick and cleats; they experimented with temperature, ice & salt; they climbed and they slid on the ice slide. The Foxes took impressive safety percautions and had 'life guards' to help steer sliders in a safe direction.

We lunched at the visitor centre and after lunch feasted on some homemade ice cream that we made. To end the day we popped popcorn over fires. Ask your Fox the science behind the popping of the corn!
