Stike Camp, October 6-16th

Since it's still October we thought we would express what we are thankful for these last two weeks. It has been a pleasure getting to know more than 20 new kids through the strike camp. We have seen them come to the bluff a little shy and perhaps wondering what forest school is all about. We have seen them over the last two weeks gain confidence in themselves, in the games we play, in their being out in nature and in the elements, in their friendships, as well as their use of tools. Whether or not they have come for a day, multiple days, or for some everyday we have loved watching them making their sense of place in nature. Here are some pictures from the last two weeks. We are also very grateful for this beautiful autumn weather!


We will continue holding strike camp until the schools are opened again. We have a few open spots in our regular classes if you are interested in continuing after everyone returns to school. If you have questions about our regular classes, please email info.upstreamforestschool@gmail.com
