The Foxes have a new favourite game that involves trying to pull everyone in the class on to your side of the robe. The morning was spent playing and modifying different games. Once tired out, the Foxes worked on their market crafts. There are some beautiful weapons and paracord being made.
After lunch we challenged the Foxes to make a fire by themselves or in teams of two. The trick was they had to make the fire using one arm length stick. Once we had a communal fire going we made ginger beer, which ended up a little bit more like ginger/molasses tea.
To end the day we played a three way game of capture the flag with the Rabbits and had a lovely debrief about the quirks of fellow students at forest school.
We also had some big discussions today. Ask your Fox how we covered social studies, history, math, art, home economics today.
