Field trip day! We enjoyed a guided tour of the man-made wetland on Prince's Island from Mrs. Catherine. While we did not see any beavers, who stay in their lodge during mid-day, we did see plenty of beaver evidence! We also enjoyed playing with a group of Thatching Ants whose nest was near our vantage point of a beaver lodge (https://www.insectsofalberta.com/westernthatchingant.htm).

Other highlights from the day include: rolling down a hill, playing What Time Is It Mr. Wolf, and our contemplative walk to and back from Prince's Island. Enjoy these pictures below!

See you next time!
