Today we had a small class, which lead to a slower pace for class. We searched for big leaves on the way up and found rose hips to poke onto our skewer. The Squirrels observed the leaves were more crunchy this time around and their were less green ones.
Since the kitchen is one of the most popular activities, this week we asked the Squirrels to tell us their recipes, everyone had a unique recipe (although most of them included marshmallows). Ask your Squirrels about their recipes!
We also set up a challenge activity for the Squirrels, continuing with our obstacle course theme. We set up a long rope that wrapped around trees and ended with a bear stuffie. Level 1 was to follow along the rope without letting go of the rope. Level 2 was following the rope backwards, and the final challenge was using a blind fold. We were able to cheer and encourage each other on. Ask your Squirrels which level they tried and if they successfully found the bear!
The rest of class was filled with exploring our space in new ways, playing games and working together to saw apart a massive log! It was another beautiful day to learn and play outside!
