As we walked up to our spot we noticed we were the first humans to walk there. Plenty other-than humans had been there and we followed these tracks around. Ask your child what animal prints they saw. We also noticed a large tree had fallen over creating a natural balance beam, which Priya and Jono explored.

With the fresh snow we went sledding of course! The Squirrels found a hill they thought would be good and they were away - a great way to keep warm! Priya suggested tying the sleds together to make a train so everyone could go down together. And then they decided which order they would sit in on the train, rotating around so everyone had a chance to be at the front.

We finished our morning at the bike track playing a game of stuffie tag. This was a physical game as we were running and climbing up hills and sliding down, changing directions, hiding in trees - If your child has a favourite group game they like to play, we'd love to hear about it.
