This group is crazy for ziplines! After learning about the tool circle and how to use our knives (we will do this often!), we carved elves that sat in our ziplines. Figuring out how to make the ziplines move took creative problem solving; we discovered that adding weight, and going from 'high to low' helped. Near the end of class, we made a giant zipline with our longest rope; we will bring a longer one next week! A question to consider with your Squirrel; why would something heavier go faster down a hill? We will explore the concepts of gravity (so glad we have all our hills!) and acceleration next Tuesday!
