Once again the Squirrels were un phased by the cold weather and we spent a fun couple hours, exploring, sliding, playing and climbing in the snow. During our sliding the Squirrels wanted an added challenge of grabbing a stuffie as they slid by. Ask your Squirrel how they challenged themselves. Once the wind started to feel to nippy we headed down to the bike track where the imaginative play began. The Squirrels quickly broke off into smaller groups and found fun ways to stay warm. One group made a party room with many of our loose parts where as another group took their stuffies on an adventure. Ask your Squirrel which group they were apart of. After the bike track we headed in for some snacks and story telling. We told the story of our day using paper and markers, talking about the key activities and places and drawing a landmark based treasure map. Then the Squirrels got to tell their own stories using our collection of pictures painted on rocks. Ask your Squirrel about the story they shared!
