Squirrels, April 26

Hello and welcome to another exciting blog post from the Squirrels!

Today, we learned many new skills as we took on the construction challenge of building a tree house (no trees were harmed). We began with a lesson on how to use a level, and how to tighten and loosen screws. Afterwards, it was a flurry of activity as our scurry (a group of squirrels) crafted and modified wood, fabric, and dirt to make our space a little more like home.

There were many great examples of team work, and sharing.

In the end, we had a sit-spot where we reflected on a tree of our choosing. We look forward to continuing to observe the same tree each week to see what happens!
