We can't believe it's the end of the year already! First of all, we watn to wish you a fantastic winter holiday! We'll see you back on January 9th!

Today was a mix of preparing for the market and beginning our fire journey! We learned how to lash, and practiced our skills by hanging shelving for the market.

The afternoon saw us practicing our fire making skills. We began with getting the fuel ready; everyone took a turn making either tinder, kindling or chopping wood. Emery set up the log cabin in the fire pit, and it was a sucess! The match lighting showed us a variety of skills; some are more comfortable with others, but we have all winter to practice!

If the ROlws have time to practice double ball over the holidays, it would be great for our skill development! One group has made their own by putting tennis balls in an old sock, and using rubber bands to hold them in place. Brilliant!
