On our misty morning we played games and tackled a few challenges. The Red Squirrels enjoy the blind folded challenges so we did another one today. Ask you child if they successfully navigated the ropes and which areas were challenging. We worked together to carry "gems" to safety and practiced walking quietly and softly to avoid dropping them. During free time the Squirrels have been enjoying setting up ziplines and delivery devices. There have been some wonderful observations on how to construct them. Today we came up against the issue of wanting a long zipline but having issues with the knots and angle. Next week we will experiment with the angle of our ziplines more. Ask your child if the mega zipline worked and how we worked around the knots stopping the pulley.
