Welcome back and what a beautiful winter wonderland to play in, thank you for dressing your children warm! The first part of the class we tested out the many different types of sliding option we had, Ted after a few tests thought the slippery sided cardboard was best while Ivy liked the wheel-less skateboard. Then we noticed some of the tracks in the bike track and thought about which animals they could be. We played some tracking games, focusing on noticing the subtle clues. We then continued our animal identification inside. Ted and Ivy did a good job noticing the patterns, specific colors or size of the tails or pelt to help them narrow down the animal. We used some of our identification books to figure them all out. Ask which animals we ID today. Then we crafted some frozen bird feeders which we will decorate our forest with next week!
