We really embraced the snow today, and had a wonderful class! After arrivals we headed over to the ice rink and playground and started a fire in the firepit to stay warm. The squirrels used candles and lint (thanks Clay!) to get our fire roaring. Once we were nice and toast we made snow ice cream!
The sugar rush gave us energy to run around, so we played some snow soccer in the field and a few other running games before heading into the cabin for a snack break.
Inside we read a lovely book called Over and Under the Snow and played a game called Whats in the Bag, where we have to guess the object in the bag without looking, just feeling with our hand, then sketching our guess.
Back outside the whole group played together which the kitchen stuff in the snow with some coloured water. Some business ventures and jobs emerged in the game and everyone was collaborating and working together really well.
