The rabbits enjoyed spending time on the bluff after the first big dump of snow of the season! We spent time throughout the day exploring and playing in the snow. Snow provides so many new activities to try!

We started the day with some sledding and then tried following tracks in the snow. Next we played animal card tag. It was fun to play this game last week and then again this week when there was lots of snow to run through.

Next we read a story about the moon and everything that the cold weather brings. We spent a significant amount of time in free time. Some students played with kitchen equipment, other chose to do more sledding, and others were building their base. We also had the parachute as an option, which was a fun activity.

We have been working on mapping and directions for the last few classes, so today we played a game called "four corners" using North, South, East, and West. We ended the day with a debrief of our rose (favourite part of the day) and thorn (hardest part of the day).
