Rabbits - March 12

upstreamforestschool

The Rabbits enjoyed some fun team building challenges today. These challenges required a bit of thinking outside the box and cooperation to be successful. One of the tasks was to get 9 random items into a bucket in a tree in as little as time possible. A variety of attempts with some trial and error resulted, but each time that we tried the group got faster. It was fun to watch different roles emerge from the group and see how thinking about things differently impacted this activity. We are going to try it again next week. Ask your Rabbit to explain the activity and how you think we could be faster next week. The only 'rule' in the game is the bucket can't be taken down off the rope.

Because the weather was so gorgeous today we also did a number of activities that we hadn't done in a while. It was good to take our mittens off (and jackets, hats and sweaters) to work with our hand. We did some painting, carving candles and playing in the mud kitchen.
