Rabbits - March 3

The Rabbit's are becoming fire masters! They have all worked hard to be confident with matches, how to position the kindling and wood and the best types of starters to get the blaze going. Of course a perk of a fire, is roasting yummy food over the blaze which makes fires even more fun in engaging all of our senses. This week we also melted wax in the fire to make crayons.

After our exciting bobcat sighting last week, we extended some learning around the bobcat, specifically urban bobcats. Ms. Jessie joined us in the afternoon to lead us through an exciting predator/prey game where the urban bobcat had to stay alive despite the risks of the city, get enough food to survive and maybe even have bobcat kittens.
