Rabbits - June 11

Today was a quintessential forest school day. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, the bluff was green and our friends were ready to play.

We engaged in some plant exploration (we tasted the young spruce tips) drank tea together - Thank you, Julien! We did some lease hold renovations to the tree house in the bike park and animal card tag had us all running and laughing.

During our class we also did a remembering activity, thinking back to all of our memories from our classes together and mapping them on a timeline. It was interested to hear about what stuck out in our minds and what was remebered. It was a challenge to figure out how to get all of our memories in the correct location on our timeline and this required some negotiation and conversations amongst our group.

Next week is our last class together. We look forward to hosting the parents for some forest school fun at the end of our class. An email with information about what time to come and what to expect will be communicated in the next few days.
