The Owls were up for playing games this morning and we had a substitute teacher from Camp Chief Hector who taught us some new games to wake everyone up. After games the Owls had yet another auction. This time the auction items were to make a swing. Every piece that they aquired had to be used in the swing and the two teams had some creative results. Ask your Owl how much the Moose went for!
Before lunch the Owls got together to work on the Tournament/Market. Roles have been delegated and a date and time have been set for June 6th from 1pm-3pm. Ask your Owl what they are doing for the event and what to expect. Some of the Owls have homework for the event!
The last structured part of the day was an alphabet scavenger type challenge after lunch. It was tough. Some groups used their creativity to come up with some interesting answers.
The rest of the day was spent in free time. The Owls are learning from one another how to respect boundaries while at the same time be inclusive.
Oh and possibly the best part of the day was when the Owl swooped through the bluff being chased by a robin!
