Owls, June 5th & Market

The Owls Market and Gropple Tournament was a great success. Thank you to all the friends and family and neighbours that came by to support the Owls. We haven't counted the profits yet, but it seems like we made enough for the rafting trip!

Thursday was spent preparing for the market, interspersed with some movement games and the Animal Game. Signs were put up around the neighbourhood and the Owls set up a practice court for Gropple.

The market went so well. We are proud of the work that the Owls did to prepare for the market and tournament as well as how they were flexible to adapt to unexpected circumstances. There was some dissapointment with the attendance for the tournament, but the game that was had was a mixture of Owls, Cottontails, parents and teachers....the prize was thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you to Rebecca and Ashwin for the beautiful pie.

The Owls class is full of talented bakers, thank you to the families that made the blufee happen!
