Owls, Jan 30

This morning we had a competitive racing series. Staring some of the best playmobile races and their amazing vessels. We saw it all, playmobile people being ejected from their sleds, sleds losing parts, and of course photo finishes. It was a tough course but the designers were tougher!! The owls revamped their sleds lots, adding seat belts, changing up designs or adding more slidy material. It was a great morning of creativity and problem solving. Ask your owl how they did. This afternoon we made an cool tire drum and did some group drumming exploring sound and how different materials produce different pitches.
