We had a wonderful day with the Owls today!

Our day began with lots of running to stay warm in the chilly spring air! We played Fox tails with a great deal of enthusiasm, followed by a few new strategy games!

We continued our day practicing our communication and listening skills with a beat circle.

Our creative minds were hard at work today! The class was split into two teams and given materials to each build a challenge course. Once the courses were built, each team led the opposite team through their course blindfolded! This was an incredible feat in communication and patience!

After lunch, three new teams took on the challenge of creating a new game with materials they had received from participating in a live auction! The auction was a great hit, and the kids' creativity was incredible! One team came up with a throwing game, another with a collage of various games, and yet another with a combination of 10 pass and volleyball which was named Graupel! Great fun!

The day finished with free time which saw new forts being built, old forts being revitalized, the creation of a swing, hammock time and some carving!
