Well, the Owls have taken full advantage of the last of the sunny autumn warmth…

Jackpot is the current favourite warm-up game - it's so great to see your Owls just organising themselves so efficiently, and having so much fun, without any input from the leaders. This group spirit flowed nicely into collaborative "objects into bucket" challenge - you really are demonstrating understanding of individuals' place in the whole, and how to work better together.

Free time was another opportunity to work together on the wonderful construction, which had started taking such good shape last week: check out the group haulage effort:

After lunch was a two group shelter challenge: as winter draws in, we need to get practised at these skills; both groups were successful - creative with knots and peg carving, and some rather stylish furnishings to boot! I'm sorry not to have got photos of my group's A-line, which they erected superbly, despite my best efforts to ruin their creativity...
