The nuthatches have been very interested in the kitchen that we bring up with us. Often we pack up bowls, pots, spoons and muffin trays. Then using the ingredients we find up there plus some fun smelling teas they create soups, muffins and other treats. This kitchen time requires lots of communication between everyone as we share the tools, take turns using the oven and showing off our dishes. Today they added creating a bell to signify when the baked goods are done! Ask your Nuthatch if they remember what item we used as our bell. We also got creative and built leaf animals as we talked about all the different colors and shapes.
