We have been practicing our fire lighting skills over the past several weeks and Isabell and Lea took the leap out of their comfort zones and each lit some matches. There was lots of excitement around the match lighting and we will continue to practice! We also tried lighting our fire starters from last week and found out the cotton balls and pinecones light really well. Ask your Nuthatch which part of fire was their favorite.

The Nuthatches have been using their noticing skills to observe changes in our space. Often they find color thread or different type of sticks, this week with the help of the magnifying glasses and binoculars they were able to notice even more "clues". Ask your nuthatch what they found on their scavenger hunt, dead lady bug? During free time they built a new fort and rescued stuffies!

Rabbits - May 13

We enjoyed a sunny morning on the bluff! The dandelions were starting to pop up everywhere so we spent some time harvesting the petals...
