Todays class was a wet one! Which allowed us to explore our shelter building skills and play many games to stay warm and continue to explore our space.
Themes: Shelter building, knot tying, communicating, team games and exploration, rope creation and tool exploration.
Skills embraced: Teamwork to haul logs and figure out the best place for our tarps and knot tying. Learning new group games and taking turns giving new ideas and rules. Attempting to build a zipline, problem solving and coming up with a plan for next class. Learning about tool safety and exploration.
Connection questions:
Which game did you enjoy more, predator prey or fire in the woods?
Did you create something out of ropes in class? Shelter? zipline? harness?
Did you stay warm today, if not what would you pack differently?
