Chickadees, Sept 18

The adventurous Chickadees were able to explore to their heart's content today! Together, we made ants (learning about the parts of the body) and physically felt what it's like to be an ant by using touch to find our way, not our eyes. This was the rope activity with the blindfolds - ask your child about this one! Some did it eyes open first, which was

their way of becoming comfortable with the action; all opted for blindfolds by the end! There was mixing in the kitchen, and a wonderful time of tool discovery in the tool circle. We are learning about putting on our work gloves, how to use the drill and saw, and what those things can be used for!
