Chickadees, Mar 4

Today during the Chickadee classes we continued to work on our carving skills by making a gnome. We had to peel the bark off, shape the end and then paint it. The Chickadees showed great perseverance during this activity, taking breaks when needed and waiting for help. The morning class observed the fresh prints in the snow on the way to our spot, discussing who or what made each print and they started to collect the lighting bolt foot print (see photos). The afternoon class was split between playing on the sliding hill which had crocodiles and carving with soap.
