Red Squirrels, Oct 18

upstreamforestschool

The red squirrels have been very interested in shelters and building a more permanent one for us to use each class. After agreeing on a new spot, each Squirrel took a shelter design and made a model for a stuffed animal. We discussed the positives and negative of each structure and will be making one of them human sized next class!

We played more games and challenges, exploring how to make tasks harder and easier. Taking turn leading, giving ideas and supporting each other. During freetime a Forest school Pokémon game emerged which we hope to play next class as well!

Connection Questions

Which shelter did you build? What were the positives of your shelter?

Which throwing challenge was the hardest? did you get through the spiders web?

What kind of challenges or ideas should we bring to the pokemon game next class? how can we battle with our animals?
