Coyotes, April 22

We tried texture printing in between games of high five ball, Goldrush and the new game, Fresh. Ask your Coyote how to play and whether it was better to be fresh or old. We had a good time playing with words and taunting each other if we were less than fresh.

Printing was a learning experience for us. We created the printing block using materials from the bluff and recycling. For our prints we had different levels of satisfaction as to how they came out the first time but the Coyotes persevered changing their method slightly to see if the print would be more distinct. We are hoping to try lino printing before going to the Leighton Art Centre to admire Barbara Leighton's print work. If you have any styrofoam trays at home bring them along next week, they make good printing blocks.
