It was quite a chilly morning on Tuesday, but warmed up quite a bit by lunch. It was good to get a little taste of the cold, to remind us of what we need for a day outside in the winter.

We started the day on the bike track and played "capture the flag" to get our bodies moving and warming up.

Following a few rounds of this game, we started walking up to our spot on the bluff. During our walk, we stopped to harvest some rosehips and listened to a story about rosehips. During snack time we made some rosehip tea.

After snack, we had some free time. Today, we built a swing, which was a lot of fun. We also had a tool circle and lots of the students were enjoying carving and hammering.

After lunch, we were lucky enough to have Ms. Jessie come and do an activity and craft with us about moths. It was awesome to see and her kids, we really enjoyed spending time with them.
