Rabbits - May 13

We enjoyed a sunny morning on the bluff! The dandelions were starting to pop up everywhere so we spent some time harvesting the petals together to make some dandelion syrup next week. The petals will sit in water for a few days then we will strain the petals and boil up the mixture with cane syrup next class.

We did a scavenger hunt for different items around our area. It was a good literacy challenge to read the clues independetly in the groups.

The class requested to play the game 'among us' which involved some complicated set up that Clay and Witt took on and the whole class enjoyed this game for quite a while.

Our story rocks helped us debreif the day and we also had a conversation about animate and inanimate objects, and how our conceptualization of living or non living can be a cultural construct.
