We had fun this morning using snow molds to explore the melty and icy texture of the snow. We used the molds to make snow ducks, hearts, gnomes, dinosaurs, penguins and balls. This soon turned into a snow ball fight - the 'good guys' vs the 'bad guys'.

A big focus of our class together was mapping skills. We learned about the compass rose and cardinal directions. Together we made a map where we identified landmarks on our space. Each Rabbit got to have a turn hiding a stuffy of their choice and then using our map to indicate where their classmates could find the stuffy.

Once our mapping skills were solid, we visited the ROwls class and embarked on a treasure hunt they set up for us in their space, using landmarks. We also played a new game called ten pass and animal card tag.

Thanks for your leadership Rowls!
