Snow day! It was the perfect day for building with snow. The Rabbits quickly discovered that we could roll giant snowballs and had fun rolling, throwing, digging, slipping and sliding in the snow.
We ventured down the hill to the bike park to play some organized games, have snack and story, and have a class discussion about the valued we want our class to embody and how we can make compromises, listen to each other and respect each other while still having fun and engaging in the types of play that some of us really enjoy. You can talk with your child about their feelings about rough and physical play and how they can do this in a way that ensures everyone feels good about the interaction, or how to opt out in this type of play (its not for everyone!)
