Thursday was all about market prep, games and foraging. We started out with a the name/colour/ball game that challenged everyone mentally. It was silly and there was a lot of laughter. We played around the world and we introduced Aikum to the game Tweener, which was equally full of giggles and laughter.

After games we settled down to make stuff for the market. We had leather, tool circle, sewing, Fimo, dandelion bread and we saw magpies trying to defend their nest from a hawk. We missed Calvin, Simon and Bean.

After lunch we wandered over to the wild asparagas patch that we found last year and behold there was two more shoots of asparagas. We practiced the honouroble harvest to do no harm to the plants while trying just a little. There was talk about bringing their grandkids to the patch, which by that time would be a whole grove. Predictions were made about how many shoots will be there next year.

After looking for mint, which we could not find we headed to Sammie's park to plan out the market/tournie. The Owls sketched out the different areas and how to make the gropple courts. The day ended with a legendary game of 2 vs 2. The Owls gropple skills are getting so good!

Next week Mrs. Lea and Mrs. Elina will be teaching
