upstreamforestschool

Themes:

- Surviving the monsoon

- Dandelion boat races

- Ball races

- Beak adaptations

-Making spruce tea

Skills embraced:

- Today was all about playing in the pouring rain! We set up a tarp to try and keep our back packs dry and provide a bit of shelter. We spent time observing how the water was flowing through the bluff and used one of the creeks to race dandelions. All the grey squirrels were very resilient and everyone contributed to a positive day in the rain! Thanks for sending them so prepared!

Connection questions:

Which "beak" did you find was the most useful? Which "beak" was the most fun? Which games were your favorite, ball throwing, dandelion races or ball rolling?
