Cottontails, Mar 1

The climbing tree became a zoo at the start of class as the Cottontails imagined themselves as sloths, cat mermaid unicorns and a hedgehog hanging in it's branches. They were engrossed in their imaginary play for a long time.


At our spot some of the class became chefs in the snow kitchen and others had a go at making feather sticks in the tool circle for fire lighters. This was great to build on the Cottontails' knife control.

The Cottontails were interested to try the snow ice cream we made together, having collected enough undisturbed snow. Ask them what they thought of it. Would they make it again?
