Chickadees, Oct 9

Over the last few weeks we have been reading a story about how animals prepare for winter through the eyes of Lily the hare. After finishing the book today, we paired up and created winter homes for some stuff animals. Lots of great homes were made using creative materials and working with a buddy! Ask your chickadee who they made a home for. Then we played in the snow! We slid down the hill and climbed back up with the help of the "rescue team" and the red rope. It wasn't easy getting back up but many of the chickadees lent a helping hand or encouraging word until we were all back up!
