Burrowing Owls, March 8

There was plenty of creativity on the skating rink today as some children invented a game using the rink's shovels to punt a soccer ball into the hockey nets, while others raised a puck as their imaginary child, from birth to first steps.

We roasted bannock over the fire, and several people stepped into new roles chopping wood, foraging for roasting sticks, and building the fire. It's great to see the group's fire skills progressing and to notice them developing new skills or building on what they learned last time.

Connecting questions:

- Did you take on a new job with making the fire or invent a game on the ice rink?

- Would you eat bannock again? What would you like roast on the fire next time?
