Burrowing Owls, Jan 11

We currently have space in the Burrowing owls class! If you have a friend who would like to join, just let them or us know!

We are honing our skills in both organized sports, and 'noticing'. The class is enjoying transitions from playing 10 Pass, to Football. Learning all the rules, by adding a few every week, keeps the game interesting and challenging!

Our observation skills are being developped when we play Eye Spy (also known as Poker Face); this week each team made the event for the other team - they were way harder 'hiders' than the teachers were! Next week we will combine these with mapping skills!

Other favourites of ours are; sledding (their creativity and communication skills are shining tin this area!) and fire starting. After a few challenges today, we are ready for a bigger fire next week!
