Rabbits - January 20

The Rabbits enjoyed our day together! We started our morning with a fire challenge. Each group had to prepare their kindling in a different configuration. Each group got their fire roaring in a record time (under 6 minutes). We transfered the fires to our fire pit and enjoyed the warm flames while toasting some treats. Next we used some resin paint to create some pictures on the ubiquitous ice.

We played sardine hide-and-seek at the bike park before lunch and during our indoor lunch we started a new chapter book called Farmer Boy. In the afternoon Ms. Jessie joined us to do some more work on mapping as well as lead us in a carving craft where we created little people wearing wool sweaters using sticks and wool and sharpie markers. They turned out so cute!
