Owls, Oct 3

Ropes and string seemed to be our theme today! When we split into two groups (the Sawets and the Screech Owls) we each learned different skills: tools in the tool circle (mushrooms and fairy furniture!) and a shepherd's sling. Both had their own challenges, and all pushed through to completion! String also came into our day during our Chill Time (formerly known as Sit Spot!); we are making a string of knotted beads from hemp and glass beads, and eventually we will make our own wooden beads. These strings are relaxing to make, and can be used for relaxation/reflection when finished! Thanks to Etienne for our first origami lesson!
