We are enjoying more and more challenges that bring us together! Today we challenged ourselves with another timed challenge, and learned a new game. The game was 'self-refereed', which was a challenge in and of itself! We are working on listening to each other after we've had our say.
The afternoon found us at the gallery, putting together the final touches on our work. We were impressed with the Gallery space, and are excited to see all of our pieces come together! The grand opening is this Saturday from 11-5, but the show is on until the end of April.
In working on this piece, we found that some of us had a hard time being satisfied with our work; we wanted it to be better than it was, and more like we pictured in our heads. This is common to all artists, we learned! We also needed to make a decision about the placement of one of the animals (Owl); we were torn between what would look good, versus making sure the Owl artists was satisfied. We came to a conclusion that everyone could live with - phew!
We enjoyed some snow and water time on our walk back, and are really looking forward to more of this next week! Stay tuned for some field trip info!
