Owls, Mar 5

We started off our day recapping the previous class and all our new found quinzee knowledge. We then broke into two groups; a weapons making group with lots of different materials and knick knacks to create with and a mouse carving group which focused on carving technique. After that the owls broke into many different play groups while some continued carving and made gifts for Silas and Evy. (Thank you to everyone who brought something for the family!)

In the afternoon we practiced how to become quite while traveling through the forest, foot placement, speed, and focus. We will be doing many more of these activities throughout the month, so don't be surprised if your owl starts sneaking up on you more!
