Today's class we continued carving, since last week everyone was enthusiastic. We focused on making a bowl like shape, either a spoon, a bowl or a little groove to place a jewel in. These things don't happen overnight so many of the owls took a break and will continue next class, but have made some great progress so far. The class broke into an exploring group, a sliding group and a fire group. Thanks to the fire group we all had some delicious tea to enjoy! Next week we look foreword to some more fire time, perfecting our skills and learning some new ones. After lunch the owls made cool key-chains courtesy of Kai (can't wait till next weeks lesson) and enjoyed a long sit spot practicing mindful eating. Ask your owl which food items they like most.
