Wowee! The Foxes can pack a lot in a day. We were looking back at the day as teachers and thought was this all just in one day?

We started with the rope climb and checked out the new rock face. After a safety assessment everyone tried going up and down. After which some of the Foxes out on harnesses and repelled down the rope climb.

After picking apples from the tree and off the ground, we played a pretty epic game of capture the flag. Before lunch the Foxes were challenged to make animals out of the fallen apples from the ground. There was a Giraffe, Cat, Spider, a Coyote and a fellow named Billy.

The Foxes then had a lesson in what is in candy as we made caramel apples. Sugar, corn syrup, butter, condensed milk, oh my......As the caramel cooked the Foxes built little rafts and origami boats to set on fire on the water. We hope to work more on our fire building and cooking skills in the coming weeks.

To end the day, the Foxes ran into some RCMP horses and fed them our remaining apples.
