You never know what will capture the interest of the class; today, it was a game called "Gold Rush". It's similar to capture the flag, with a few variations, and with the snow we had fun sliding around trying to tag people and get to the safe zone. I have also noticed there are a lot of opinions on how to pick teams. Sometimes the teachers pick, and sometimes the class gets to pick. It's something that can create a lot of conflict, based on the 'fairness' and if friends are on the same team. This is something we will discuss next week, and think of some solutions for our class. Observing how they play when they're in free team usually shows us some ways that we can celebrate them and scaffold them, but also areas that they might need some support and ideas.

When the class were each given their own particular Sit Spot areas, they really settled in and tried to embrace the space. Ask your Fox what they thought of their space!
