Rowan berry jelly, owls, hares and knots were the themes of the day! Starting the day with a new chapter book, we started reading 'A Wolf Called Wander' -everyone seems quite engaged so far...especially the descriptions of a wolf den and a pup's first taste of meat.

Once we got the Rowan berries and apples simmering, the Cottontails were keen on tying up Avyn. We tried some new knots and worked on how best to tie him with a few attempts and timing each escape. We are excited to see where Houdini Avyn's talents will take him!

We ended the day with a craft and journalling. The Cottontails are always so enthusiastic to try something new and to take it to next levels. We love seeing their creativity in where they have taken crafts and their journals.
