Squirrels, Sept 17

From creating our own paints, to harvesting plants from our forest space, to learning how to use a hammer, the Squirrels are an adventurous bunch! Some highlights for us was learning to identify a variety of bird calls we might hear in our forest. We are encouraging them to listen to the bird song as they go about their lives! Some of the children explored a cave they thought might house a coyote, and in doing so discovered where a dragon lives! When we asked him what his name was, Jack said he answered, "Chicken.". Chicken the Dragon it is! See if they remember his habitat!
